Ah: More recollections. My brother-in-law bought a Vincent Black Prince in the middle 50s. He had decided he wanted to go sidecar racing. He denuded it of all its fancy enclosures, and "welded" a side car on to it. His buddy did the driving and he did the acrobatics. They came in "second" first time out and "first" virtually every subsequent time. A couple of years went by and he grew out of it.....he then tried "sprinting an Ariel "Square four"!!!
I think he over-sang it a bit, mr bhs; he doesn't normally stretch the words out, R-I-I-I-I-DE, like that, maybe it was because he was on stage with those other two half-wits, Wainwright and the bint. His playing, though, was exceptional, even for him.
