HUBBLE'S GREATEST HITS

AFTER THE TELESCOP'E'S TWENTY YEARS IN OPERATION, NASA HAS RE-RELEASED THE BEST OF HUBBLE.

SOMEWHERE VERY FAR AWAY
AND VERY BIG.
THE WHIRLPOOL GALAXY, THEY CALL IT.
THIS IS A WHOLE MESS OF STARS
BEING FORMED FROM COSMIC  DUST
AND SHIT LIKE THAT.

DOESN'T SAY WHERE THIS IS,
COULD BE ANYWHERE, REALLY.

How long before they invent a telescope so powerful you can actually see the back of your head in it?

It is constantly amazing, isn't it, living in the future? Leonardo, Michaelangelo, they couldn't paint stuff like this, pictures of Heaven.

And lots of it from the beginning of Heaven, and time too, Mr Ishmael. There are too many to pick a favourite but you will find the Reflection Nebula. Totally mystifying.

Yes, it is, as you say, all of that but I find it all totally mystifying, mr mongoose, almost, for all its awesome magical beauty, pointless looking at it, sometimes.
