Well done Darren Pollard!!!
It seems that when once the British were renown for upholding personal liberty, freedom of speech etc, it is now (aside with Darren Pollard and a few other notable exceptions) people from other countries are doing the hard work for us, such as a Dutch politician and the Czech president.
Aye, that's what I thought,God bless him, just an ordinary Brummie, standing up for his rights; if he was clever, though, he'd be out in air-conditioned Heaven, with mr nomad.
What, no apology from such shining examples of the guardians of lawnorder? I think it is less that they make up the law as they go along, but this government have devised a scheme whereby they say something is illegal, the police enforce the words of the minister and we plebians are too intimidated and ill-informed to resist or challenge. Bravo to Mr Pollard.
In any decent, well air-conditioned country, he would have had the hell beaten out of him for being such a cheeky cunt.
Of course, the video is out of date - under new terrorist legislation filming police officers is a crime provided the information could conceivably be of use to an imaginary terrorist.

Incidentally, a tasteful glimpse of our host may be caught here...

...his hat cocked at a jaunty angle, enigmatic smile playing about the mouth, an eyebrow provocatively half-raised: just as we all imagine him.
