IN THE WEE SMALL HOURS, MOONLIGHT MILE, TURIN BRAKES

Created by Jagger and Mick Taylor, written by Jagger-Richards, the song covered here is from the Rolling Stones' 1971 album, Sticky Fingers.

.

.....the song, "re-created all the paradoxical distances inherent in erotic love with a power worthy of Yeats, yet could also be interpreted as a cocaine song." No, surely not.

Strangeness, Mr Ishmael. I always liked the song though.

In another direction, I found this by chance the other day.

Sleep well.

They did a nice little song called Painkiller which was perfect for the summer - think it was 1998, glugging wobbly juice wandering around Glastonbury. Ah, happy days.
