LEARNING TO LIE. THE NEW ARITHMETIC

I CAN'T DO ADDING-UP
NO, NOR ME.
IS IT THIRTY QUID POOR PEOPLE HAVE,
TO LIVE ON?
SOMETHING LIKE THAT, I SHOULD THINK.
AND HOW MUCH IS THAT?
PROBABLY TOO MUCH.

Sixty per cent of those who voted didn't vote for Labour, therefore,  sixty per cent of the nation voted for the Tory-Liberal Coalition PartyULike..

It follows from this that the purpose of democracy is to provide the people with something that they didn't want, weren't offered and didn't vote for but which we and skymadeupnewsandfilth have determined is best for them. But mainly for us.

And it follows from that that it should now require the unvoted-for Coalition's permission  for  it's removal by a majority of itself in the House of Commons;  the only way for it to be removed is for it to remove itself. Which it won't.

The new Arithmetic. Simple, start with  democracy and take it away,  equals strongstablegovament.

And they are so polite about it, it's like being kidnapped by very well-groomed gangsters.
