ANTHEM OF DOOM

Britain's elite, before a night spent trashing the poor, bless.
Jolly boating weather,
And a hay harvest breeze,
Blade on the feather,
Shade off the trees,
Swing swing together,
With your bodies between your knees,
Swing swing together,
With your bodies between your knees.
2.
Rugby may be more clever,
Harrow may make more row,
But we'll row for ever,
Steady from stroke to bow,
And nothing in life shall sever,
The chain that is round us now,
And nothing in life shall sever,
The chain that is round us now.
3.
Others will fill our places,
Dressed in the old light blue,
We'll recollect our races,
We'll to the flag be true,
And youth will be still in our faces,
When we cheer for an Eton crew,
And youth will be still in our faces,
When we cheer for an Eton crew.
4.
Twenty years hence this weather,
May tempt us from office stools,
We may be slow on the feather,
And seem to the boys old fools,
But we'll still swing together,
And swear by the best of schools,
But we'll still swing together,
And swear by the best of schools.

Which one is Clegg? Jeez, what an eegit and what a balls-up he has made of the last 48 hours. Arse! "Deputy PM". No snickering at the back!

And McDoom - they lowered him down as a king.

Every time you think it will be different. And every time they fuck you over before a week has passed. God help us all.

Jesus, Mary and Joseph....I'd have these boys before I'd have a single Labour tribalist. A few broken windows at worst...

Think of the damage wrought by the Blunkett in Sheffield, or Hatton in Liverpool, or 'Enver' Hodge in Islington-cum-phaedohaven or any of the evil fuckers.

What sentimental shite we've had today from the Left. Through our common endeavour, eh Gordon?

'Course, if you don't fancy towing the common endeavour line, we'll be sure to scare the wife and kids before dropping a breeze block or two on your head.

Fuck me, the Left. Absolute c*nts of the first order.

I think all schools should be like Eton. Except paid for with tax.

They won't be though, will they, Lilith, and if they were, why, the rich would just have to go one better, maintain the differential, it's a shadowy world, skies are slippery grey.

I don't think it's about Left and Right any more, mr yaic, the Blair-Brown-Mandelstein coup, Kinnock, Smith, these weren't left-wingers, they were and are ferocious right-wingers, the abolitionists of trial by jury, gleefully ushering-in double jeopardy, torture, unlawful detention and all the time acting as servants of the banks, they are like something from apartheid South Africa, punishing the blecks, us being the blecks, of course, Your examples are vile beyond brief description but any connection Blunkett or the Nonce-Protector had with the left was careerist and opportunist, fascists, both of them, especially Blind Boy.

I would rephrase your epithet: "Fuck me, career politicians, Absolute c*nts of the first order" and offer, instead, the maxim, attributed to the late Douglas Adams, anybody who wnats to do the job (politics) shouldn't be allowed anywhere near it.

My own stance is neither left nor right but that the terms public service and career are mutually exclusive, Fuck 'em, all of 'em. Bastards.

Do not get me wrong, Mr YAIC, I would have Blunkett pushing Straw up the gallows steps with a bayonet, and Mandelson behind him. Every time I hear "to keep the Tories out", I know that I have a) an arsehole who doesn't actually give a shit about anyone, least of all the people he professes to care about, and, b) some dull rope-fodder. If you start from a position of unconditional hatred, you have got everything wrong. That is the four-legs-good, two-legs-bad cancer at the heart of the British Labour Party. But that does not undermine the basic argument of the Left. The stolen clothes of the Left have been worn by zealot, fascist goons. I am quite happy to have (my) wealth redistributed from the rich to the poor - this is called civilisation - but I am not happy to listen to the self-righteous, anti-Liberal shite that has gone along with it almost all my life. ID cards, DNA regsisters for children, CCTV on every corner, ten squillion new crimes... 1984 indeed. And I have voted for the fuckers in my time.

Having said all that... I see that we are going to have a Great Repeal Bill. Excellent! At least we will have one good thing, one candle in the wilderness. The despair, I can no manage; it's the hope I can't stand.

I think someone should point out to these people that when Eric wrote 1984 it was meant as a novel and a warning not a fucking instruction book.
