I didn't get to be on half a million a year through supporting freedom of speech. Alan Arsebridger, Mr Clegg's Praise-singer In Chief. And voice of the Poor, well, the Hampstead and Islington Poor.
The Tories had whispered that they would scrap the Arsebridger Guardian's Wednesday monopoly on public sector jobs advertising; now that he is bigging-up the idea of five-year Tory Presidential parliaments - or strong and stable guvament - maybe they'll let him keep them. Arsey's haste in kneeling before the BigCock of Right-wing Reform would otherwise seem, well, indecorous.
