Thank you, mr mick. I know little of this style of music but I thought that hers was the harder part, mr mike is a student of the European form, maybe he knows; in any event, although I only found it at midnight, it made my day too, exhilerating, and a relief from skymadeupnewsandfilth's crocodile tears francais.
Gabriela seems to be a master of the rhythm method !
Very nice, Mr I, though I do not know what you would call the lady playing the box as much as the strings like that.
Holland is an irritatingly eclectic git. (Saw him live in Squeeze in 1979? The Post Punk Years. Aw, bless.) The dross quota on his show though seems to be rising.
There was another clip, sans the prat Holland, but it was not, otherwise, as good. I stopped watching him years ago. There will be a technical term for Gabriel's percussive technique, which seems to me like a synthesis of Flamenco hand-clapping and heel-stomping. Makes Seasick Steve look seasick, whatever it's called.

Thanks for that, Mr I; I generally prefer traditional flamenco rather than the nouveau style which approaches jazz, but I enjoyed this piece.

I had seen that one, mr mike, it was what I was referring to in my comment above; the heel stomping, I think I refer to a Flamenco dancer, from my childhood, Antonio, I believe, a staple on variety shows, he did with his heels what Paco's guys do with their hands.
I guess these two are a bit down-market, populist and they also play electric guitars with fiddles, so it's not the purist stuff which you are studying but, especially amongst all this death fetishism, I found it absolutely, brightly and delightfully exhilerating.
