This is the news that former Colonel Patrick Rupert Golightly-Jockstrap is not to be punished in any way for trousering bribes and misusing his position as a legislator; fuck me, no, where would we be if we started doing that?
The whole, typical cover-up has been deflected by focusing attention on polygamous expenses fiddler, Smokey Nige, leader of the Man InThe Pubbers' Party, a diversion with which he, never camera shy, has co-operated whole-heartedly, proving, after all, that he is one of the boys.
The question should not have been Is Smokey Nige too Chicken to stand for Rupert's seat; instead, it should have been why isn't Rupert facing criminal charges? This is the second time in a couple of weeks that a criminal legislator has been allowed-off Scot-free.

Nigel is fortunate that Dave Spart has only got access to eggs.
Now that 'racism', real or imagined, is the greatest crime since crime was invented there are no end of self-appointed 'anti-racists' ready to stop such thought-crime in its tracks. Via the medium of eggs.
I'm reminded of these peedopheelia trials where some blacked-out police transit van pulls up next to the courthouse and a 'spontaneous' mob of unemployed 16 year-old pram-pushers and track-suit wearing chain-smokers are there to chuck eggs and shout abuse and otherwise demonstrate what upstanding members of society they are.
