EVENSONG, MR JACKSON BROWNE , LONG AGO, I HEARD SOMEONE SAY SOMETHIN ' 'BOUT EVERYMAN.
An American treasure, Jackson Browne. He always manages to refresh his old stuff without recourse to Dr Bob's atonal, hostile gobbledegooking. The time signatures they are a-changing, and the key, and the tune and the words.
Yes, gonna talk to the lawyers, Warren Zevon for humans, were El Rayo-X; much as I enjoyed them, though, I feel Lindley's greatest contributions are as a sideman, especially to Browne

Spot on. Thanks Mr Smith. He never fails to touch the tenderest bits.
I managed to track down a copy of that El Rayo–X you recommended and very good it is too. What was most intriguing was the obvious reggae influence.
