AN INSULT TO THE NATIONAL INTELLIGENCE.

KEIR STARMER,  QC AND DIRECTOR OF PUBLIC PROSECUTIONS. OR NOT, MIGHT THEY EMBARRASS THE STATE.

...and having considered all the evidence, we have decided that it is
simply not possible to get a fair Keir Starmer.

Good morning, Mr Ishmael. It is hard to see what could be more embarrassing to the State than such blatant arse-covering. I'm sure you must be aware of the late Master of the Rolls, Denham's, point of view on matters like this: to paraphrase - injustice is to be tolerated if its purpose is to maintain faith in the process of law. There's always some 'greater good' declared by these tyrants, isn't there? when what, I suppose they rationalise to themselves, is that it is a lesser evil.

At least, I hope they do: because, if they truly do believe they are the good guys, then I do not know what they would consider to be beyond the pale.

The first rule of socialism is "own" the police.

Ah yes...

"One issue he has had to deal with as DPP is that of victims' rights. After the controversial conviction of Munir Hussain in 14 December 2009 for attacking a burglar who had terrorized Hussain and his family, he said:

Keir Starmer QC[5]:There are many cases, some involving death, where no prosecutions are brought ... We would only ever bring a prosecution where we thought that the degree of force was unreasonable in such a way that the jury would realistically convict. So these are very rare cases and history tells us that the current test works very well."

Of course it does, lad. You soldier on. I suppose that if you had a video of the accused actually doing the assaulting that might help the jury to understand what happened. Then they might be able to make up their own minds and all would be well. What is the word we are searching for? Arsehole.

Not searching too hard, I feel, mr m.

Alfred Denning, it was, who advanced the idea you speak of, Mr Squitch, when dismissing, I think, the appeal of the Birmingham Six, Denning was, in most respects, deemed an iconoclast, a shame that he revealed his true shitty colours by insisting that we protect the bent copper in order to protect the bent system. First thing is Kill all the lawyers.

Own the police; I think that is the maxim of any would-be totalitarianism, mr OR - lefty or rightie.

Indeed, Denning, Mr Ishmael. Thank you for the correction.

More a nod in agreement, mr squitch, than a correction.
