First heard this faintly soundtracking on the irritatingly addictive US TV show, Lie to Me.

He's a Cornish singer/writer/DJ but he could be the William Blake de nos jours; he could be the late Nick Drake with his head out of his arse or he could be a pretension-lite Leonard Cohen; he could be anybody, he could be me, oh, how he could be me.

I always remember reading in Scott Fitzgerald's Tender Is The Night the exquisitely paradoxical: Take me out of my turbulent waters and you extinguish my flame. And I always wish I hadn't.

Trust all's well. May I just chuck ace voice down as I think it's good.

The question is - can dance music ever go mainstream? No, no it can't.
