Don`t know much about Peter Tatchell but didn`t he actually have the guts to try and arrest Mugabe and got a severe kicking for his trouble ?

Thatchell has his points, but does seem to think he has the right to out those who don't want out.

Being a full-time activist and scribbler seems a peculiar vanity and I think PT is wrong-headed on much, especially on the age of consent but I believe his outings are of people who, whilst in, pass discriminatory legislation or preach discriminatory sermons and who, in my view, as I have said repeatedly, most recently in the disclaimer on the last post, simply cannot have their cock and eat it, or is it cake, Michael? There is a less compassionate, sterner view, that people who pontificate on marriage and the family being the building block of society whilst barebacking around Westminster are contemptible and deserve everything they get. There will be amny such, Mr Murdoch will knopw who they are but will maintain their privacy. And obedience.

Always been a sermonising cunt that Hughes, Mr Elby. He is beyond saving now.
The simple answer to both Maggie's need to create wealth and Hughes' bollocks about the gap is to take poor people out of income tax altogether. "The income tax threshold is hereby raised to £12,000. This will cost X billion pounds and will be funded by an increase on the basic rate of Y pence in the pound." Poverty largely erased, poverty trap removed, wealth gap addressed where it needs to be addressed - at the bottom, work incentives increased. Problem solved. Not a cat's chance of anything so sensible happening, of course.
