PARLIAMENTARY TORIES SILENCE PARTY MEMBERSHIP. HOW DID THEY DO THAT?

 The dancing queen,
young and true,
only sixty-two.
My shoes are my children.

Gosh, if only the vermin in the parliamentary labour party could act so decisively then dopey Angela Eagle wouldn't have been floundering about, today, making her leadership non-announcement  to a handful of cub reporters who had wandered into the wrong building,

 Any questions?
 From the BBC first?
No?
OK, from the British press, then?
No?
OK, anybody else?
 Got any questions?
About my announcement?
 No?
OK. Fuck you all, then.
You're all homo-wotsits, then, phobics.
And we'll stop you voting for us.
Just have MPs voting for each other.
As we in the Labour party are pioneering.

In the Tory party, Jeremy Corbyn would just have been bullied out of the way by a malevolent press, as was Andrea Leadsom, and the useless, dowdy, sneery Ms Eagle would have been busy rewarding those in her party who, like Tory MPs, had stilled Democracy's voice.

It is reported as a fait accompli, this coup in the Tory party, skymadeupnewsandfilth insisting that this is what the Tory members in the country want, what they really, really want.  It is, in fact, pure Blairish Labour strategy, an attempt to wrest back for themselves a power to which they are not entitled.

I wonder what dirt thay had on Andrea Leadsom, must have been something excruciating.  I think PLP Labour has already shot its poison-bolt at Corbyn - his involvenement with Diane Abbot being the worst they could throw at him, oh, yes, and he didn't fiddle his expenses like the rest of them - now he is damned for the democratically expressed views of 17-odd million people across the land and is simply seen as an obstacle in the politicians' war against the people,  a war  in  which Mrs Leadsome is but the latest casualty.

We must await the verdict of Tories in the country, should we ever be allowed to hear it.

In the meantime, since most of the voluble Tory MP Brexiteers were merely going through the career motions, we should expect a swift return to normal - renewed austerity, privatisation, foreign military interventions, continued membership of the EU and an even more ingrained level of spivvery than we have yet seen..

 l
Well, of course Adam and I stand ready to serve Wall Street and the Pentagon to the very best of our abilities. Just as we have always done. No, of course he doesn't need to be elected, he goes everywhere with me.

If this rotten cunt, Fox and his boyfriend find their  way back into May's government we should all more urgently wish Mr Trump bon chance et bon aventure.

The MediaMinister attack on Leadsom was particularly vicious. One example, from the Financial Times:

Headline - "Leadsom declines to answer questions about her CV"

Mr SG - "that's odd, I'm sure I've just seen her being grilled by Laura fucking kuenssberg on the PBC, on the very same subject, and the same on SkyMadeUpNewsAndFilth". Sure enough, on checking back (can't be arsed to find the links just now but available on request...), said interviews were run, major topic her CV, and, fuck me, she answers the questions...

I re- read the FT article and, within the copy, this:

"The candidate, who finished second in Tuesday’s first ballot of Tory MPs, did not take questions, depriving journalists of the chance to ask her about what supporters have called her stellar City career".

So she left without taking any questions... Presumably because she already had a bunch of media interviews lined up and didn't need to sit in a room full of sweaty hacks. They could equally have tagged it with "Leadsom declines to answer questions about gay marriage, her favourite film, colour, whatever...".  Journalistic license - I don't think so...

I have asked them about this - still waiting for a reply.

I'm starting to like Corbyn, even if he is a rat faced terrorist sympathiser as  dubbed him back up the road, he's reached the 'Outer Party'. Leadsom was cut off at the knees before she could do the same. Just when was the last tme we had a Conservative Prime Minister? Pre Thatcher I think.

Sorry, I should have said "pre-Heath" - any advances on that?

Mr SG: you can see what a hide Sid has, to have put up with the shit thrown his way for years. Though I read his recent resignation was caused by credible threats to his life and his children.

SG said...

Indeed Mr Mike, SWP, UAF, SNP mobs have got very close to him on a number occasions (well two that I can remember). Love him or hate him, he has the right to speak. Interestingly, the real voice of 'intolerance' is on the so-called 'remaining-liberal-left' just now - fuck them and their 'picnics'... Where's my smock and pitchfork?

Someone is now head of government who received no votes but was chosen by a party that over 70% of the electorate declined to endorse. I can't decide if this means we're under an oligarchy, EU satrapy or have just suffered a coup d'état. Or all three.
Mr. SG is right about Leadsom. I have no doubt that it was all because she's Brexit, and have no doubt that May got the job because she isn't. The old "you got it wrong, try again" ploy has become too obvious. Our chance of saying goodbye to Europe's dictatorial interference has gone from slight to zero. We will either just have to wait for it to crumble as is the way of all spendthrift tyrannies or help it along with Ghandi-esque peaceful non-compliance. There aren't enough jails for 17 million Brits, once they've - we've - had enough of this crap.

I think the examples of behaviour exhibited by those disturbed beings who see themselves as "our betters" illustrate beautifully why we are ready for another form of government, run by people with integrity and intelligence.

call me ishmael said...

Not even the party, mr richard, some of the MPs of the party, pure banana republic stuff; early days, yet, maybe some Brexit Tories, maybe some Brexit populace will yet piss on May's shoes. You wouldn#t think so, though, listening to that cunt of a hack Huw Welshhman, pretending to be a journalist. Honest to God, just when you think the PBC can't go any lower, they trot-out this ghastly man, to pontificate at us.

call me ishmael said...

I have been saying it here for years, m. alphons, party politics is so nineteenth century.

mongoose said...

I think that we have said before - never underestimate the Conservative Party. The fuckers are nothing if not pros. I would also not discount the notion that the whole fucking exercise was a scripted panto. The only actual candidate to have been beaten in a vote was the distressingly ridiculous Fox. And he is ever the also-ran. (Also a professional BTW.) If you doubt any of the above, think about the coincidental timing that battered Mistress Eagle so soundly that she is dust before she has begun.

The BBC is curiously onside too. What can that mean?

"Brexit is Brexit". Aye, but what does Brexit mean? The EU is now an expensive and hugely problematic in security terms now. I wonder, are we seeing a proper European carve-up of the old school type?

call me ishmael said...

It probably is all three, mr richard, plus an entirely unwonted interference from Wall Street's tea-boy, Obama, a coup and a colonisation.

call me ishmael said...

It is truly disgusting, mr sg, MediaMinster. But as we saw recently, ;argely irrelevant outside London. Let's see what happens.

call me ishmael said...

Yes, mr mongoose, they were, as I said, largely career Brexiteers and we must await their reward under PM May, that'll give the lie to it being anything else. The PBC being onside.....it's always onside, Iraq, Brexit, you can count on the PBC to support the government, whichever party claims to be it.

And, as with the race rioting in the States, as with the FBI/State Departmnent shenanigans about Hills and Spunky Bill, the corporation only tells us a fraction of what's happening and why.

call me ishmael said...

Any more on that Sid business, mr mike, threats and what not?

call me ishmael said...

Corbyn, mr sg, I have coruscated, here, for his thirty-year hand-sitting in the matter of Commons Beasting, for his acceptance of a coupla millions in salary, when proper socialists, like Dave Nellist, only took the wage of a skilled worker in his constituency. Even so, he is not quite one of Them, albeit that he's only recently learned that. Inasmuch as we can, we should support him against the rats in his parliamentary party. But even if they manage to keep him off the ballot they won't get the genie back in the bottle, the genie being the growing recognition that party politics serves only the Government of National Unity. I betcha any money you like that, even tonight, Blairish Labour is studying the Tory Coupsters' Handbook.

call me ishmael said...

Nick Clegg, just now, talking about Decency, and being listened to; fuck me, Jesus.

SG said...

Blairish Labour and the Tory Coupsters - two cheeks of the same arse Mr I. However, let's see if Mme May has any 'balls'. If I were her, a major gender reassignment exercise would be required, of course, and the ageing and the damn shoes (but nonetheless)..., I would go for a General Election now, under the existing rules, and watch the Labour turkeys vote against Christmas. Then administer the 'coup de grace' by using the Tory majority to repeal the fixed term Parliament act and go for it anyway. But you need someone proper ruthless, a Mr Putin type, for that kind of thing and I don't think we have one....

call me ishmael said...

Corbyn, mr sg, is insisting on a general election and he is probably right to do so. Even without the five-year rule, convention dictates that there is no binding constitutional need for a general election when the government won a majority at the last one, on the other hand, though, the need for a new leader of the government arises from the largest electoral event in our history, an event which clearly weakens the mandate of the pre-Eurendum government, as well as of the house of commons, generally. Calls for a new election are unlikely to come from any branch of MediaMinster, street action is the only possible impetus and with Corbyn impaled worse than Julian Assange only UKIP can mobilise public remonstrance, Suzy won't do it because she's a Tory at heart, and Paul Nutter is not credible. Probably only Sid Poundland could mobilise enough public support, and he's off down the pub.

SG said...

Strangely, that Vernon Bogbrush bloke was arguing much the same earlier on today Mr I - Parliament is no longer representative of the electorate, given a 'Remainian' majority in Parliament and the majority of the common people in favour of out, strong grounds for a general election was the thrust of his argument. We live in 'interesting' times...

mongoose said...

Err, remind me again, when was the last time that a party in power changed its leader and actually did call an election? Say, within a six-month? I think Anthony Eden was the last - and that was before I was born. So I think we are getting a bit fluttery over nothing.

Besides May would win a fucking landslide, and I take it we are not in favour of that. SNP cannot win any more (unless they stand in Northern England - a good idea BTW); Labour could easily lose 75 or 100; UKIP might win 6; and that leaves at least +70 for Theresa, and a new mandate for remaining in a new, reformed EU-Lite. No, ta. Same as the old boss. Fuck that. Let's burn it down, please. (Oops, forgot the Dogshooters. But then so has everyone else, eh.)

And I have just caught up with the full misery of the Luvvies' day. Dear God, this is getting embarrassing.

call me ishmael said...

Yes, I've often though Bogbrush a regular silent reader, here, a bit slow, mind, but he is Oxbridge, tauigh Don'tCallMePrimeMinisterDave, I do believe. Nuff sed.

call me ishmael said...

That's what I said, mr mongoose, just added that there is an argument to be made for an election in these circumstances which are unprecedented, even insofar as the outgoing prime minister is quitting over the ramifications of a choice he gave the electorate, and not over any other shortcoming or wrongdoing. Or death..I know that it is unlikely in the near future; even if there was a Brexit rump in the Tory party, Labour would support May in denying the people a voice, that's what they do. But it remains a possibility, in order to thwart the outcome you suggest.

I think we said, way back, that regardless of the vote nothing much would change our position vis a vis Europe but it won't just be us who thought that way, millions of others have seen tghis prefigured and their mood will only grow uglier.

What little I saw of her, I thought Eagle's clarion call muted to the point of inaudibility. I am my own woman. Right, you can keep yourself, too, dear, nobody wants you, nobody decent, anyway. Horrid, shrivelled little baggage.

Mr I: the Sid treats reported in RT - the only place you can get proper news these days:

https://www.rt.com/uk/350645-assassination-threat-farage-ukip/

mongoose said...

Oh, and boundary changes. Theresa will want her boundary changes in place first. I wonder where all that stands.

call me ishmael said...

Thanks, mr mike. I have started watching RT again, recently, but I missed that item. Interesting thread, attention drawn to the lack of police action over threats to Farage. It is quite a commonplace, up here, threatened violence on message boards by the Tribesmen, Gnasher, of course, condemns it all, but never sends her police 'round, to sort it out, that must be why she cemtralised it, into the McStatzPolizei.

call me ishmael said...

We must wonder where it all stands, mr mongoose, for there is now a massive, disenchanted electorate; they won't all die-off before the next election. And no matter what her minders say, Tracey May is damned as a fence-sitter at best, a bankers' stoolie, an Austeritiste, as well as being the founder of ImmigrationAllHours,24/7. She has no support in the country, less, even, that Flashman and Junkie George. She will need to restrict the elctlral boundary to one constituency, MediaMinster, and a resultant formalised Government of National Unity. Any half-decent unrest will facilitate that.

mongoose said...

It all fails to make any political sense. Why would Cameron wreck his record and split his party again along the EU fault-line unless there was some objective? The outrageous lying and cheating of the Remain arguments - now miraculously magicked into Leave lies - meant that even a won referendum wouldn't have solved his problem. Having "lost" his referendum, the opportunity existed to kill the argument stone-Brexit-means-Brexit-dead. Now we will have an EU-Lite stitch-up which will satisfy nobody and leave everyone pissed off. A bar-room brawl, nobody won but the joint was totalled and everybody thumped for their trouble.

It cannot be, can it, that Merkel and Cameron have agreed a backroom deal to dump the Mediterranean layabouts and slash the cost of the whole escapade? The protestant north will gather around their industrial/financial campfires and leave the poor feckless Catholic/Orthodox hordes of the South to get fucked over once again. The money has surely run out now and perhaps the political will has been exhausted too. Perhaps there is no need now for an anti-war European coalition. Perhaps there is nothing left to fight over.

call me ishmael said...

That is a fascinating analysis, mr mongoose, and you know me, I would believe anything of any of them, I will sit in the sunshine for a few minutes and think about that, as well as praying for Ms Angela Dowdy, sickened and terrified but umbowed by a window broken some hundres of miles from her; she should immediately be annointed leaqder of the Blairish and deputy prime minister in the GNU. Back shortly.

call me ishmael said...

Well, I was getting nowhere, sitting in the Sun so I'll have to do this a step at a time, at the keyboard. In no particular order but just as they come:

The majority of people will want a general election, MediaMinster will speak to a couple of hundred and conclude the opposite, hoping to kill the idea stone dead but it will fail in that aim. May was an entirely indifferent cabinet minister, unable even to meet the ainms of a Home Office halved in size by the Blairish John reid, prisons and justice having been hoved-off to the new ministry, May failed spectacularly in her reduced responsibilities, she alienated the cops, presided over a un controlled immigration and rewarded one of her husband's investment vehicles, G4, with contracts to mishandle the Border Security Force. She is an abject failure as in innovator and administreator. She is now described as a safe pair of hands merely because Cameron couldn't think of anywhere else to dump her yet feared sacking her entirely. This is the way of it, tyhe scum rises to the top.

What we call the Labour party is almost certaim to split and much more resoundingly should there be a general election, in which England will, as far as Labour is concerned, resemble Scotland. The SNP could win seats in the North East but to attempt to do so would be a madness veen beyond Gnasher, more likely UKIP and a batch of Corbynite Independents would trash Blairish Labour. The Tories would at least remain the biggest single party perhaps even increasing its majority, whilst opposition benches -SNP and Independents and UKIP would have little room for a Blairish Labour fragment, whose natural home, anyway, is in the Tory party, It is all very heady, unpredictable and anathema to MediaMinster. To predict a bar-room brawl is to understate the matter significantly......

I think you are positing something along the lines of a return to the original six or seven common marketeers but where does that leave the newly-joined, horse-drawn economies of the former Warsaw Pact, who will continue to bribe them, and with whose money? And where wilkl Uncke Sam's NATO lay its belligerent head, should the EU retract?

Cameron and Merkel, I dunno. He is unpardonably stupid, you would think he never went to school, much too stupid to convincigly ACT stupid, which, if your analysis is correct, is what he has been doing, acting naively whilst having a sophisticated ulterior motive, an overarching plan, a pan-European conspiracy which anticipated the failure of his Remain campaign and the defenestration of its chief opponoents AND the resignation of its instigator, Mr Poundland.

AS to your proper observation that none of this makes any political sense, well no-one would dispute that. My preferred explanation for this brouhaha is that by historical definition those in the palace disregard those outside until they break the fucking doors down and cut their heads off, or worse. A brick through the office window may prove the very least of Ms Dowdy's troubles. I do believe that this obvious failure of political sense and sensibility has led not to some suave
finessing of unexpected events but instead has sown and continues to sow the seeds of a popular uprising against OrganisedCrime and that what appears to be a fait accompli, a coup against the majority can only inflame it further.

Uncle Sam demonstrates, when we are allowed to witness it, that people are prepared to take arms against a sea of troubles.

This doesn't come close to responding to your theory, mr mongoose, but I daresay the discussion will continue. Until they stop it, of course. Tracey May being committed to uniting the nation in being spied upon, reported upon and denied freedonm of thought, much less expression. It is not Thatcher she reminds me of but that dreadful baggage, Jacqui Schmidt, her ID cards and her ninety days detention without trial. Proper Blairish reforms.from the Labour party we love.

I just caught the dear bleating on the TV. Her poor fucking windows, eh? They'll be the least of her troubles if she follows example and lobs St Jez out the window too. Is she too young perhaps to remember the Liverpudlian troubles of the Windbag?

I do not mean to imply that Cameron has planed every step, merely that the music has played and he has danced to it. The question arises as to why the dick put a quid in the jukebox to start with. It was idiotic. The good news for them all is that the Stasi's very own Angela will get along just fine with Theresa. And Hammond too is a cunt we have to watch out for.

The EU boil must be lanced. It is over. The euro has hastened the end but it was there for all to see looming over the horizon. The bloated smirking fucks will have to go and get proper jobs after all and the more they fuck with the people, the sooner it will be. The dicks are going to try to join Nato too. You see if they don't. If they just shut up and did nowt, they could stay swilling Belgian beer for decades yet but they've not the commonsense to see it.

call me ishmael said...

Just seen, witrh the sound turned-down Windbag Junior, lecturing a party member who had the temerity to disagree with her betters, ie him and rotten, pox-arsed dad and his greedy doxy mum. They really, really don't know what they're doing. Bernie Sanders, it seems, is doing the same sort of thing, endorsing the criminal Clintons.

I doubt that Ms Dowdy was ever young, by the way, born a poisoned crone, under a bad star.
