HERE COME THE NICE, LOOKING SO COOL.

TRUE LOVE WAYS.

The current Tory leader and his Mrs strut their casual stuff
whilst Dave keeps his eye out for incoming shit parcels from the Filth-O-Graph.

Among traditional  Tories,  Mr Yahoo is the only person hated more than Mr Gordon Snot and  has not, therefore, a dog's chance of becoming prime minister Blair, Mk 11, no matter how much he screeches. Fuck, no, they'd rather vote for Mugabe than this prat.

Mrs Cameron, daughter of a robber baron, is said to be good with clothes. But obviously not his.

Nope sorry just doesn't work. He looked so much better in the Bullingdon get up let the lower orders know who is the fucking boss. Any offers on why there are so many skin heads these days? No forelock to tug so teach the ignorant scum to kowtow.

Fashion note: SamCam's rig is a ringer for that worn by Audrey Tautou in "Coco before Chanel". Slightly too-short trousers, grey toning jacket rather than black or naving matching. She's got the shoes wrong - too shiny.

As a fashion saddoe I naturally watched the special features on the DVD first for the cr'ative notes, where the costumier explains that the "marinier" look was in fact later than the story was set, but they back-dated it as it seemed so right for the film.

Sam's choice of this outfit may be a signal to Carla Bruni that she'll have to raise her game. It is a cheeky swiping of French iconography to thumb a nose at the Italian, whose only style challenger so far has been the octogenarian QEII. Let's face it, neither Merkel nor Macaulay-Brown are much of a threat to the Sarkozy court.

Bad news, then, for everyone who wants politics on the substantive issues, but kindly pass me some low-calorie popcorn as I'm settling back for a hugely enjoyable display fight.

My money's on the English girl as she does Le Style Anglais and managed to make herself, it is claimed, a quarter of a million richer at Christmas in the sale of the luxury retailer Smythson. As creative director SamCam had helped make the brand attractive and it has now been sold to an Italian leatherwear group.

I'm not qualified to comment on whether Carla Bruni can sing.

Mmm. I'll vote for the bugger, but I fear he is one of the Nufamily-obsessives, utterly feminised, wanting his life to look like a page from the Boden catalogue.

You might note that SamCam, in typical NuDolly form, took an old fashioned stationers and turned it into a fashion brand.

She likes expensive handbags, so old brands can get stuffed and serve Sam by paying her to do what women used to do for free around the kitchen table.

Pushy, with a fake estuary accent.

The Small Faces, too, wore shrunken trousers; just an historic note for you fashionistas and as with Mr Sam, they never admitted to taking drugs. Although everybody knew they did.

Imelda Blair, now, there's a woman could dress.

Is that an 'Open Fox-Trot' or are they trying out the Armenian army march?

I believe, Mr Modo, that the manouvre is called the Vince Cable Stride for Fame QuickStep, as in Quick, before anyone notices we are airhead prats, one-two, one-two.

What I can't understand is why they want (imagine italics there) to be PMUK; life must be far better for both of them as it is without becoming public property and being hated by seventy percent of the population.

Mr. Ishmael,
The only way to legally get rid of Brown and the Nu-Labour scum is to vote for Cameron and Conservative candidates. You gotta do what you gotta do! As for the clothes Dave and his missus are wearing ... smart and trendy I believe. They are an attractive couple who could represent Great Britain in a modern and stylish fashion. Brown is a slob and his his missus a frump.

Mr. Anonymous. The choice it would seem is between someone who looks like they might eat their own boogers, and someone who looks like they are willing to eat someone else's.

call me ishmael said...

Yes, and that would be just as an hors d'ouevre.

lilith said...

Very funny thread.

Does hors d'oeuvre mean "out of work"?

An amuse-bouche to pick over. The best way for a great politician to express his big ideas in small bites.

Modo,

With respect there is visual evidence of Brown eating bogies. No might about it. 500 million people have seen it. It was on the telly. I'd take a chance on Cameron not eating his own or anyone else's bogies. Well at least to have the sense and decency not to get caught doing it!

Brown is a horrible man. Whatever it takes ...

Mr. Anonymous

That is truly a ringing endorsement… Go to 80 Charlotte Street, London and do not pass go.

Dear mr anonymous, prime minister Snot is truly a horrible fucking bastard and some of us have been saying this for rather longer than have others; axiomatic as Brown's rottenness is, however, it does not follow that Nr Cameron is potentially any more fragrant and indeed given the national loathing of Brown, should Cameron convincingly unseat him there is every possibility that he and his gang of Old Etonian bullyboys might act in a manner which outsnots, shall we say, our current tormentor; the maxim, therefore, that my enemy's enemy is my friend has, here, no currency it being, in the case of Cameron and Spit-Gove and the ghastly Johnson almost an invutation for them to the more pungently shit in our faces, it being their turn.

None of the above.

Mr Ishmael,

Not to extend the thread beyond its interest but it seems that you are saying don't vote for Cameron and his candidates because they may in fact turn out to be the same as Brown and Co or even worse. That may well be the case; but only may. I shall take that chance and vote for my local conservative in the fervent hope that he is returned and Dave gets the job.

I do love to visit here but rarely comment. Thanks for taking the time to write your stuff!

Thanks for taking the time to read it. mr anonymous.

Like mr mongoose I do maintain the NoneOfTheAbove position and I do suspect - no, I am certain - that should Cameron win power it is just inbuilt, inescapable that he will be worse than Field Marshal Snot; that is not the same as saying Vote for Snot.

I have some sympathy with the view that NewLabour deserves not only to be out of office but to be also Up against the wall, motherfuckers but I would rather see the public spleen vented by a massive non-vote or a huge vote for anyone who is not from a political party; y'know, ordinary people.
