SUGARBABES, JACKIE DE SHANNON, EVERY TIME THAT YOU WALK IN THE ROOM

An original blonde pop chanteuse, Jackie de Shannon inspired the Searchers and thus, presumably, in part at least,  the Hollies and the Byrds and Crosby, Stills and Nash; collossal rythms and riffs.  And her only a girly.

Well that was surprisingly gutsy. And she wrote my favourite Come and Stay With Me as well.

Did she really, mrs n? The one which Marianne Faithfull charted with? That was an under-rated song, too. Her eary stuff was written with Sonny Bono, in his pre-Cher days. I just love the idea of her, Needles and Pinsa, the art of the suspended fourth.

I think so: maybe under her real name, or another stage name perhaps? A dim faint bell rang when I was watching the video, but I can't find anything by here to prove it even to myself.
