Hadn't heard of this young Frog before, I'm disappointed to admit. Quite beautifully played.

I see Fat Eck's vanity project went a wee bit further doon the pan today with Snotty's return. It's only taken three years for the MAOI pills to finally kick in.

I'm not musical enough, mr tnp, to know why this is so much better than others, just that it is.

Didya see tinight's JockNewsnight Special - a "debate" about independence, Christ, it was dreary stuff, everybody just arguing, especially Yousaf, the SNP guy, who clearly thins he's so clever that he would eat his own shit. Ir was as though cheap, banal, juvenile debating skills were what's really important here,m Rubbish, all of them, more later on that.

Not on the iThingy down here yet, Mr Smith, but no doubt will watch and squirm embarrassingly. Unmitigated pish.

Magnifique!!

Many many years ago, an elderly lady I used to work alongside in the office learned that the following day was my 18th birthday. Overnight she passed by a record shop and bought me a present which she presented to me the following morning - an LP of Chopin's Nocturnes beautifully played by Stephane Askenase.

That was the first LP I ever owned (they were too expensive for my very limited budget in those days). I still have it, it is still completely scratch-free, and I still play it from time to time - and I have never forgotten who gave it to me..
