MOUNTAINOUS MOLEHILLS.

We have one new reader. It says so at the top.  I don't know what any of that means, I'm afraid, as can be seen from the sparseness of the blog page - no stats, no campaigns, no adverts - writing, pasting 'photos and music from the you-thing,  that's more than enough for me to understand.

mr ryan, though, - and welcome to him - has joined others at the top right-hand side of the page.  This represents a per centage increase similar to that which has caused MediaMinster meltdown over Scotland.  It is thirteen people of a thousand changing their opinion which sees Mr Winston Wisteria profaning himself and his works for all the world to see;  it is thirteen people who have caused the pound to slump, inward investment to take flight, have caused  the Sun to turn black and the sky to fall, thirteen people who have led Mr Salmoind to fresh fields of graceless, hyperbolic butchness, although he has some distance to travel in that respect before o'ertaking Ms Nicola Moustache.

If the moodswings of around one-in-a-hundred can trigger psephological Armageddon then what is heralded by mr ryan's discernment?  Should we quit Blogger and go it alone, the People's Cyber Republic of Ishmaelia? I think the very least we should do  is annex the Huffington Post and declare us all Independent, even though, of course, like Scotland, independent is the last thing we would be.

Mr I: I'm sure you have many more "friends", but like me they don't want to give any more data to Google and the 'Merkins.

Just as I'm sure that a small NO (or even small YES) will be the worst possible result - that is proof positive of what an idiot your PM is.

I'd join up too if I had any idea how to. I don't do all that "social media" stuff Mr I (other than an occasional visit to the pub). This is no Country for old men Mr I. Re: 'The Telegraph', back down the road - maybe if they replaced the Barclay Brothers with the Cohen Brothers?...

I'd put "Ishmaelite" on the next bastard census but the idiots would probably think it was something to do with the Aga Khan...

By the way, I'm liking the idea of the People's Cyber Republic of Ishmaelia, it gets my vote. But could we have the Duke of Edinburgh as head of state? It's those gaffes you see...(Brian's are a very poor relation to your earlier point back up the road).

I think a boxing ring should be set up and there should be a full days boxing. Salmon V Dave
Trump V Prescott
Etc etc until night fall.
Then they should all be locked up for life and we could carry on in the way things have worked successfully for a few hundred years,

I'd be a member if I was a joiner or if I didn't prefer anonymity for the time being or if I actually had a cyber presence.
It a very civilised cyberwhatsit you run here mr Ish.
My first port of call each day before I get to the less important task of putting in a days drudgery.
In terms of value of contributions to entertainment and debate, your blog is well ahead of the game.
An opportunity, here, to thank you for your musings...oftimes hilarious, oftimes enlightening, more times scathing. All times therapeutic.

Sorry Mr I: re-read my earlier remark; I didn't mean "friend" in a pejorative sense - I was referring to "Google Friend". IE branch of NSA.

No, I wasn' t commenting on follower numbers, just using mr ryan's appearance and its percentage of the total such to lampoon the likes of Peter Kelnrer and all the pollsters who build such massive structures on splinters of evidence and how markets and govaments are so easily stampeded, The polling organisations exercise undue influence, MediaMinster pays them too much attention, they should be silenced forbseveral months in advance of any election, let them get a proper job, their practice is counter-democratic.

As you would expect, mr the noblest prospect, my sentiments mirror your own, Salmond is Thatcher and Blair's creature but the potential collateral damage of his proposed, vengeful reforms is far too grievous to be encouraged.

The whole thing is a fuck-up of historic proportions; not just in terms of the potential split and its economic and constitutional consequences for both Scotland and the rest of the UK, but in the way that it is revealing the imbecility of the leaders of all of the political parties. Jock smells blood:  ‘Fuck you, Cameron, Clegg and Milliband, we would rather end our days piss-poor in the rain than spend another day in your house, you have brought this about and on your head will be the consequences'. Regardless of the result of the vote, it appears the revolution has already happened, and considering the current political climate in the UK, I reckon that fat lady is warming up her voice.

KILLER DEE-JAYS:

http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-29145248

Sorry to go off topic again Mr I. This one's like the Brand, Wossy, Andrew Sachs case only worse, much worse. Jihadi 'Dee-Jay' John's got nothing on these fuckers. Clearly these people have no concept of 'shame' and what it means. Its fine to lampoon the Sleb's and Politicians, their egos and pay packets demand it - an occupational hazard. But the 'ordinary' folk, the 'little people', as they are sometimes patronisingly called, the people who keep the world going round, they are not 'game', 'fair game', game to be hunted. It is an abomination that people make a 'living' out of this sort of cruel shit.
