Eother I'm too sensitive or else I'm getting soft but I find half an hour of him enough, ms lilith, so packed is his stuff with brilliance. He certainly operates at a level unreached by his contemporaries, who appear, by comparison, crippled, maladroit, inconsequential; Bill Bailey, particularly, with his musical one-trick pony of pastiche, his hobbitry and now his dire comics' chat show, waxes increasingly shallow and sad. I imagine him married to Jo Brand and them slobbing around their gaff in dressing gowns, writing musical knobjokes.

Bill Bailey be a bore. I had never heard of this geezer though. Good fun and a talented lad.

There is plenty of him on the YouThing, mr mongoose; a man after yoour own heart, in some ways, a kind of a comedy engineer cum dismantleur des illusions.
