That's just about the best of all possible outcomes, seeing as how London was invaded by the largest scoatish army ever, like ever. Of course, the real winner will be the Delta Variant, which has Glasgow by the throat, and lungs - and the Tartan Army musters from Glasgow.
You can't help but be a little bit pleased for them, cos they don't win football matches, and not to lose is, like, a gigantic victory.

I do not watch the footie, mrs i, for reasons which were reinforced by my idiotic decision to watch this match. The English (again, again, again, as the babies say) played football by standing still and looking about them for a similarly stationary one of their mates to whom to pass the ball. It was all just so awful and dreary.
It was thoroughly tedious, I agree, mr mongoose, but football fervour has little to do with the quality of the running about and kicking a ball - it is just a hook to hang tribalism on.
