    That is interesting, Mr The Dyers Garden, and almost poetic. The survival of the weakest, now, also, the time bomb being manufactured by the NHS and PharmaCorp.

    I wonder if a similar climatological explanation exists for the premature baldness of so many young men, as well as their apparent unutterable stupidity.

    I don't know about the explanation, but in the case of the young man you have in mind, the only solution I can see, for once, is your favoured "up against the wall".

    I did laugh when Oberfuehrer Straw announced

    "He has not convinced me of his innocence"

    As opposed to "I am convinced of his guilt"
